Laura attended the Seminary of the Southwest following her own study and practice with The Community of Hope, Int'l. She regards her education and experiences in CoHI as formative for the priesthood, competing in quality with her Clinical Pastoral Education and Pastoral Theology studies during seminary. Laura believes that relationship is the most powerful currency there is and is given to us by God. With that, Laura seeks to develop a deep network of lay chaplains in The Community of Hope who are dynamic in their learning, loving, growing, and always becoming even better practitioners. She thinks Benedict of Nursia would agree! Laura is the rector of St. Mary and St. Martha Episcopal Church, Buford GA in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. Together with the congregation, she discerns who (she) they are uniquely called to be in contexts around the community, going where few go. Laura has a heart for belly laughing, practical jokes, and being a good listener. She is married with two adult children.

Amy is a lifelong Episcopalian. She graduated from Rice University with a BA and from Kennesaw State University with an MBA. After retiring from many years in a corporate job, she became deeply involved with serving at St Peter and St Paul in Marietta, GA. She currently leads the COHI Center, two Bible studies, and a weekly Lectio Divina group. 

DescriptiAimée has spent nearly three decades in vocational ministry shaped by The Episcopal Church, a journey that began as a summer camp counselor and unfolded through roles in youth ministry, diocesan leadership, and parish-based program development. Her work has always lived at the intersection of community, formation, and the healing power of place.

She holds a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation from the Seminary of the Southwest and serves as a spiritual director. Her formation also includes certification in forest bathing through the Spiritual Guidance Training Institute, a two-year interfaith and interspiritual chaplaincy cohort with the Order of Hildegard, and a 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Kanuga has been a steady companion along her path of discernment, and she now serves as Senior Advisor for Program Innovation, tending spaces that invite connection—to self, to one another, to the natural world, and to the Sacred. Brandon lives in Bulverde, TX, outside of San Antonio, with his wife and five children. Brandon works for Rev. Reagan Gonzalez at Church of Reconciliation in San Antonio. He earned his PhD in Education in 2014 from Texas State University and facilitates workshops for businesses, schools, and churches on inclusion, diversity, and belonging across intersections of faith, gender identity, sexuality, race, class, and ability.

Craig has been a member of CoHI since 2021. He is a member of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA. Craig also serves as a Licensed Lay Minister in the Diocese of Atlanta and North Georgia, holding licenses in Pastoral Care, Preaching, Worship Leadership and Evangelism. Craig is also part of the Kanuga Fellows: Leadership Renewed program, which seeks to develop and empower lay and clergy leaders as they support the ongoing ministries of the larger church. Craig's family of choice includes his life partner Mark, and their beloved and bossy border collie, Roxy.
